Internally, this format is really just a minor variant of the universal ePUB format. Kindle/Mobi is the proprietary format used for Amazon Kindle eBooks, which can be read on the Amazon Kindle hardware eBook readers and a wide variety of Amazon Kindle apps on different platforms.
ePUB eBooks are cross-platform and a huge number of eBooks are already available in this format. Almost all their configuration settings are identical, and because of this they can be configured with the same settings in your project's Configuration sections. The document(s) still doesn't show up.The standard ePUB and Amazon Kindle/Mobi eBook formats are so similar internally that we group them together. I tried the above several times and even waited until the next day. It returned with a message "Success Your document has been uplaoded and will be delivered to your Kindle shortly." I clicked OK and then went to Kindle app but I could not find the document inside my Kindle app library. I clicked on it and then it took me to "Send to Kindle" with a "Send" function.
It then took me to a page where I can find "Kindle" app icon which was supposed to open the file with Kindle app. However, now when I click on the three dots (.) on the top right inside Dropbox file, the "Open" function was gone and replaced by a function called "Export", the closest function I surmise the same or similar as the "Open" function before. It was an "Open" function which took me directly to the Kindle app and then I could start reading right away. It was an easy click to open mobi file directly in my iPhone with Kindle app before.
